I just made it through a really intense month. It seems as though there are some people in my local Polyamourous community that think it is OK for them to sleep with whom ever, when ever, and never get STD tested. And then they throw a fit when one of their partners gets shunned for being with them. They throw a temper tantrum and say that other people can not tell them what to do. Then they call people who are unwilling to sleep with them..."a tease who does not put out." Well call me a tease any day you want. You are basically clearing my name for me. You are letting everyone know that I did not sleep with you. That I have standards. I can only hope that I inspire others to be as cautious.
In my poly family the rule is...every one gets tested, once every year, or once every fourth new partner. Play safe, stay clean, and live to play another day.
